A. Bluegrass Lawns: Apply 4 pounds per 1,000 square feet. Apply evenly when grass is dry to keep from browning the lawn with fertilizer application.
B. Tree & Shrubs: Apply 1 pound per tree or shrub, by digging a trench around the shrub or small tree.
C. Large Trees: As a rule apply 1/2 pound per diameter inch of tree at 4 feet above the ground. apply in holes 18 inches deep and 2-3 inches in diameter. Holes should be 2-3 inches apart and dug under outer end of branches. After applying fill holes with dirt and water freely. Early spring treatment is best.
