The purpose of this fertilizer is to help keep green lawns healthy and alive until there is adequate moisture. Some moisture will be necessary during the growing season to keep the turf crowns alive.

The sulfur coated nitrogen will limit the growth in the turf grass plant, requiring less water for maintenance. The high phosphorous promotes deeper root development and increases root mass with better moisture retention.

The additional potassium will help thicken the cell walls, making the plant more resistant to heat and drought stress. The potassium will also increase disease resistance and encourage rooting. The iron and sulfur will allow the home-owner to maintain color through stress periods.
